Collection Site Coordinator / Contract Manager

The Collection Site Manager / Contract Manager will play a vital role within Agsafe by supporting both the drumMUSTER and bagMUSTER programs. This position is responsible for managing relationships with collection sites, ensuring compliance through contracts, permits, and insurance, and coordinating with councils to maintain accurate collection data. As a primarily office-based role, the Collection Site Manager will support seamless operations across Agsafe's stewardship programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and upholding Agsafe's standards.
Key Responsibilities Collection Site Relationship Management:
Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with collection sites for both the drumMUSTER and bagMUSTER programs.Serve as the main point of contact for collection site operators, providing guidance and support to ensure program compliance.Conduct occasional site visits as required to address specific operational concerns and foster stronger relationships. Contract Management: Data Collection and Coordination:Coordinate with local councils to collect and verify data on materials collected at each site, particularly when councils may not enter this data directly.Implement efficient processes for accurate and timely data submission, addressing any reporting gaps or delays proactively.Collaborate with Agsafe's internal teams to integrate data into program reporting and compliance frameworks.Maintain accurate records, supporting Agsafe's reporting requirements, including data entry into the centralised database.Provide weekly site inventory report to processors for scheduling collection runs. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all collection sites adhere to program guidelines, permit requirements, and insurance standards for both drumMUSTER and bagMUSTER operations.Conduct periodic reviews of site compliance remotely or through documentation, visiting sites infrequently as necessary.Identify and mitigate risks associated with non-compliant sites, escalating concerns to senior management as appropriate. Stakeholder Engagement and Program Support: Act as a liaison between Agsafe, councils, and collection site operators, addressing stakeholder inquiries, feedback, and operational needs.Collaborate with the drumMUSTER and bagMUSTER teams to align collection site activities with broader program goals and operational priorities.Support the promotion and development of collection sites as integral components of Agsafe's industry stewardship initiatives.Standards and Training Materials Maintenance:Oversight the record keeping, training requirement and enrolment of collection site staff to ensure inspection processes are observed / improved across the program footprint.Manage all contractual arrangements with collection sites, ensuring up-to-date agreements are in place for each location.Review and update contracts periodically to reflect changes in program requirements or regulatory standards.Ensure all collection sites maintain the required permits and insurance, ensuring compliance with Agsafe and government regulations.Work with regulatory affairs and legal teams to address any contractual issues or updates as needed Infrastructure Management and Maintenance:Identify sites where new infrastructure is requiredWrite business case for investmentDevelop and maintain processes for dealing with damaged cages, and contractor feedback to resolve issues. Key Skills and Qualifications Experience: 3 years in contract management, site operations, or a similar role in environmental services, waste management, or a related field.Technical Knowledge: Understanding of regulatory requirements in environmental stewardship, waste management, or agricultural sectors is advantageous but not absolute.Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with site operators, council representatives, and internal teams.Data Management: Proficient in data collection and management, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational and time-management skills, able to prioritise tasks and manage multiple sites from an office environment.Problem-Solving: Proactive in identifying challenges and developing solutions to ensure smooth site operations and data compliance.
