We are currently seeking a Buyer to join our project procurement team delivering the Darwin Ship Lift Facility! This role will be based in our site office in Darwin, on a 15 days on, 6 days off roster.
Clough in a joint venture with BMD have been awarded by the Northern Territory Government to deliver the Engineering, Procurement and Construction services for the development of the Darwin Ship Lift facility.

Your focus will include:
Supporting the Supply Chain Manager and coordinating with the procurement team, to define the strategy for procuring Material & Permanent Systems goods for the project Raising and issuing of confirmed Purchase Order agreements in accordance with Clough procedures Managing the overall procurement and delivery process for assigned packages Working with Vendor management to pre-qualify Suppliers where required Ensuring use of existing MSA providers for relevant Goods and Services Reporting activities to manage and mitigate critical issues detected while carrying out the procurement process What you will bring to the team:
5+ years of previous experience in a similar role as a Buyer Documented experience of managing procurement of major equipment packages for infrastructure projects Exposure to EPC type reimbursable projects Previous experience working with SAP would be highly regarded Competent negotiation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders Experience in expediting delivery of purchased equipment and associated Supplier documentation Basic knowledge and understanding of materials management systems and processes and practical experience of maintaining purchasing/expediting data in materials management systems Ability to work a 15:6 FIFO rotation to site Clough's people enjoy:
