Description: Marsh is seeking candidates for the following position based in Canberra ACT office:Client Services SpecialistWhat can you expect?In this role you will support colleagues and clients in all aspects of administration and technical support through the accurate, efficient, and timely production of all policy and related documentation across the insurance life cycle. Supported with training in the combination of online learning modules, systems support from the Operations team and 1:1 on the job learning. Working under the umbrella of operations you will help drive standardization of processes and procedures. This includes providing legally compliant work to the client and entering accurate information into all Marsh IT Applications, enabling the delivery of analytical statistics. You will assist in upskilling non client facing operations colleagues with additional product and client knowledge. What is in it for you?Interesting and diverse client portfolio.Leading training and development program.Professional environment where your career path really matters and is supported in our global organization.Successful, established corporate team with energetic and supportive colleagues.Genuine flexible work life balanceWe will count on you to:Consistently use the required IT Applications to maintain compliance, accuracy, and workload, contributing to resource allocation and process improvementEnsure timely and accurate production/processing of client transactions including but not limited to:invoices and related policy accounting documentationquotation and placing slipspremium and adjustment calculationsinformation and documentation for Pre-Renewal and Broking meetingsdraft policy wordings and endorsementsrenewal reports and insurance manualscertificates of currencycurrent and outstanding documentation follow upsall other documentationSupport the achievement of high levels of client satisfaction through effective administrative support to Account BrokersSupport effective working relationships with clients and insurers as required by the Account BrokersEnsure that accurate up to date records on all clients are maintained at all times.Possess a thorough understanding of all major classes of insurance which the Company offers to its clients.Possess a thorough working knowledge of all aspects of the Insurance (Agents & Brokers) Act, Insurance Contracts Act, Fire Services Levy, Stamp Duties, Worker's Compensation and other relevant legislation.Acquire and maintain an awareness of the client's business and insurance needs, noting all briefing information provided by senior servicing and broking managers.Develop and maintain a basic understanding of the core aspects of relevant Insurance and related legislation.Adhere strictly to the Company's Quality practices and other systems and procedures.Comply fully with the Company's Errors and Omissions avoidance policy.Other duties as may be required from time to time.What you need to have: Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).Strong administration and organizational skills.Sound knowledge of Microsoft office suite and a fast learner of other computerized systems.Ability to work under pressure and possess an understanding of the importance to meet deadlines through effective time management skills.Motivated self-starter focused on achieving results and able to work autonomously as well as be a team player.What makes you stand out?High School Certificate or equivalentMinimum 2 years' experience in a similar broking/operational role, preferably in an insurance related fieldMinimum Tier 1 ANZIIF Broking License
