As a Civil Drafter, you will support the success of ACOR, both locally and on a national level.
Candidates will need solid, in-depth experience in and knowledge of 12D and the design of civil plans for a range of project types, including land sub-divisions, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
Duties & Responsibilities Develop concept and construction designs and documentation using 12D software.
Coordinate with clients, engineers, and draftspersons in relation to civil engineering (and multidisciplinary) projects.
Design to relevant design codes and standards.
Work closely within a team environment to deliver a coordinated product.
Liaise with ACOR staff, external project consultants, clients, and public authorities to ensure successful project outcomes.
Contribute towards the development of ACOR's national civil design, CAD, and IT systems.
Opportunity to assume design manager roles in addition to civil design delivery if desired.
Skills & Experience Associate Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering Design or equivalent.
Wide range of experience considered on merit, minimum 3 years post-education.
Demonstrate experience in a range of projects including commercial, infrastructure, land development, and other multidisciplinary works.
Experience in urban design is highly regarded.
Experience in geometric design and traffic management is highly regarded but not essential.
