The Opportunity As a Venue Officer at the City of Perth Town Hall, you'll be at the heart of vibrant events, working with customers to bring their visions to life. You'll play a key role in supporting events and delivering production, technical, and venue services, all while offering exceptional customer service. Reporting to the Supervisor Town Hall within our City Culture team, your responsibilities would primarily include:
Meet with potential customers who wish to view the venue as required and provide information and advice on the venue, equipment, technical systems and services provided; Set up and operate venue technical systems during events; Monitor and maintain compliance of hire conditions and licensing requirements, including adherence to liquor licensing laws, during events to maintain safety and legal standards; Ensure the building's presentation, cleanliness, and accessibility are maintained to a high standard before, during and after events, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors and compliance with accessibility regulations. About You To succeed in this role, you will possess:
Demonstrated experience learning and operating a technical system; Good communication skills and demonstrated ability to work cooperatively in a team environment; Strong customer service skills with experience responding to enquiries in a timely and professional manner; Good time management skills with ability to manage a variety of tasks as required.
