The successful applicant will prioritise effective communication and be action-oriented and solution-focussed in their approach. This leader will have a strong track record of navigating complex challenges to generate solutions within a workforce that faces historic recruitment and attraction difficulties.As a key member of the Executive team, the Chief People & Culture Officer ('CPO') will provide dynamic leadership, focussed on leading the development and execution of Warrigal's human resource strategies to attract, retain, and develop a high-performing workforce dedicated to providing exceptional care to their residents.The role will also be responsible for aligning HR initiatives with Warrigal's purpose, vision, and values whilst ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards. Key ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities of the role will include:Lead a diverse team to successful deliver on the strategic objectives of the organisation.Contribute to the delivery of the Organisation's strategic plan.Develop and implement proactive HR strategies that support Warrigal's workforce goals, objectives, and strategic priorities.Partner with the executive leadership team to integrate people-related priorities into business planning processes.Demonstrated experience in addressing complex human resources problems.Develop solutions for challenging attraction and recruitment environments with critical roles.Provide direction and guidance on workforce planning, talent acquisition, and succession planning initiatives in accordance with strategic directives.Champion a positive organisational culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.Lead the development, execution, and implementation of performance management processes.Stay abreast of relevant employment laws, regulations, and industry standards, ensuring compliance across all HR practices and functions.Assist the CEO to deliver the Board's expectations of the organisation, be a trusted, engaged and values-driven member of the executive. The PersonKey attributes and experience that will need to be demonstrated include:Proven experience in a senior executive HR leadership role preferably reporting to a CEO and within the healthcare or aged care sector.Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and regulatory requirements.Deliver high quality projects on time.Demonstrated ability to develop and execute HR strategies that drive organisational performance and employee engagement.Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the proven ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organisation.Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.If you would like to be considered for this opportunity, please apply via Seek with a cover letter and CV.
