With a keen emphasis on human resources management, operations, financial management, strategic planning and execution, your responsibilities will encompass: Establishing and maintaining a high performing company culture and employer brand. Assisting in the development and delivery of strategic and operational plans and defining the company's pathway to growth and diversification. Overseeing daily operations across multiple locations to ensure the achievement of company objectives and targets. Improving organisational effectiveness by developing and implementing industry best practice internal processes. Delivering on agreed budget and cost control targets. Supporting the bid management process. Assuming overall responsibility for the company's Integrated Management System and ensuring appropriate Risk Management Strategies/Controls are in place. Reviewing cost control on contracts and projects and adhering to contractual obligations to ensure customer satisfaction. Collaborating with company owners and the Advisory Board and providing regular reports on company performance. Acting as the company representative when engaging with customers, federal and state government representatives, other stakeholders and the general public. About You: You must be able to demonstrate substantial commercial expertise in a senior managerial capacity, ideally within fields such as product innovation, manufacturing, or supply chain and procurement, with a specific focus on the Defence Supply Chain. A solid understanding of Defence requirements as a primary client, along with previous direct engagement with the Commonwealth Government in terms of stakeholder management and contract reporting would be highly valued. As a self-motivated individual capable of guiding a team towards making impactful contributions, you should demonstrate the ambition and potential to advance your career, aspiring to assume the CEO role eventually. Ideally, you will possess: Strong technical understanding underpinned by higher education studies in Engineering, Electronic Systems or Commerce. Strategic mindset, analytical and critical thinking skills. Strong working knowledge of project management concepts and best practices. A high level of integrity and confidentiality.
