As a Chef/Cook at Traverse Alpine Group, you will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and create delightful dishes that leave a lasting impression on customers. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of presentation and taste. Develop and create new recipes that meet dietary and nutritional requirements. Estimate and order ingredients and supplies necessary for cooking. Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following food safety and hygiene standards. Collaborate with restaurant management to plan and execute menus. Stay updated with industry trends and techniques to continually improve culinary skills. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef/Cook in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen. Demonstrated knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. Ability to multitask and work under pressure. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Formal culinary training or certification is preferred. Experience working in a hotel or resort setting is a plus.
