CA40 is part of the LC4 Sustainment SPO, overseeing various Land C4 capabilities that enhance situational awareness and support rapid decision-making during operations. The role involves providing technical assurance support, including verifying security requirements and conducting technical reviews of security documentation. This encompasses threat modeling, security architecture, software code reviews, policies, plans, designs, security compliance, and certification. You will possess experience in the following areas:Providing advice and guidance to the system owner on the assessment process;Providing advice and guidance throughout all phases of the system development, on mitigation strategies and controls to effectively reduce risk within an acceptable risk tolerance;Maintaining independence throughout the assessment process;Conducting an assessment against current security policy and standards to assess residual risk and address any specific requirements of the CA;Providing a Certification Report to the CA which articulates the risks(s) and recommendation(s);Maintaining evidence of activities conducted during a Certification Assessment; andAccepted as certification consultant by the ICT Security Branch.A real endeavour, driven by youOur work is highly complex and confidential, so there are some things you must have to fulfil this role:Current NV2 security clearanceExperience with deployed Defence ICT Networks.System and Network Administration experience.Experience with operational broadband and narrowband communications systems.Security certification and accreditation experience.Certification in one of the following:Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Security Leadership Certificate (GSLC)Auditing qualification in one of the following:Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)Information Security Registered Assessors Program (IRAP)More than anything, you'll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and a drive to manage critical projects and programs that build sovereign capability and deliver complex things that matter.Why Downer Professional Services?At Downer Professional Services, you'll find the opportunity to build something remarkable.
