WHO WE NEED: We are looking for an experienced Buyer who has an innate sense of style and a passion for the fast-paced world of fashion!
You will be at the forefront of driving the product ranges for our global markets. Your comprehensive knowledge of local and overseas market trends will be instrumental in constructing a commercially balanced range that adheres to the critical path.

WHAT YOU'LL DO: Construct a commercially balanced range which offers the right mix of print, plain, colour, and product typeLiaise with the Managing Director and Design Team on product planning, ensuring the range is consistent with brand aestheticWork with Planner to trade businesses, manage OTB and develop option plans for all stockWork with Planner, Network Manager & Marketing to achieve sales and drive profitabilityWork with Planner to construct and present post seasons, identifying opportunities and learningsWork with Planner & Production Team to ensure a clear price architecture which ensures maximum sales and profitability to the businessIdentify product opportunities & risks from sales reporting and market analysisWith Managing Director, manage relationships and business with various key customer accounts in Australia and internationallyWork with Design & Production Team to ensure best fit and consistency of fitWork with Design & Production Team on progress to critical path, ensuring key dates are metTravel locally and internationally on Buying/Product tripsMaintain knowledge of local and overseas fashion trends by visiting stores/onlineWHAT YOU'LL HAVE: At least 5 years' experience as a BuyerWomenswear experience is highly favourableExceptional working knowledge of fabrications and garment constructionExperience working across international markets is preferredStrong retail acumen and business judgement, with an ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environmentStrong internal and external stakeholder management skillsExperience in team management, leadership and decision makingBuying trip experience preferred but not essentialRelevant tertiary qualification in Fashion or Merchandising #J-18808-Ljbffr
