Business Development Manager (Transport)Hi-Trans Express has accumulated a wealth of experience in the freight transport industry over the past 50 years and has grown to become one of Australia's major National Transport Operators.
About the role
As a BDM, you will spend 3 to 4 days per week in the field pitching our business to potential clients, with the remaining time in a hybrid situation between the office or WFH, sourcing your appointments through networking and cold calling. This exciting role generates new business from prospecting and includes negotiation of commercial terms, all the way to onboarding on behalf of the organization. This includes national linehaul and interstate freight services as well as functions in burgeoning strategic B2C growth areas.
To be an absolute success in this role, it is essential that you have the energy and drive to get out there and build relationships with potential customers. You will be confident, engaging, and hungry to excel. Any previous experience in the Transport Industry will be highly regarded.
