Legrand is seeking a passionate and driven Business Development Manager (ACT) to join our team and make a real impact.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this hybrid role offers autonomy, collaboration, and the opportunity to grow relationships and sales in the ACT, Riverina, and Monaro regions.
Your responsibilities will include:
Building strong relationships with builders, contractors, electrical wholesalers and consultants to drive sales of Legrand's innovative products. Overnight travel to regional areas once every 8 weeks. Identifying and pursuing growth opportunities within your territory. Educating stakeholders through engaging presentations of our product solutions. Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and maximum sales potential. Organising and leading regular meetings and training sessions with key partners. Representing Legrand at industry events to showcase our solutions. What we're looking for Ability to work autonomously based in ACT. Strong Sales or account management experience (electrical industry preferred). Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to plan strategically for growth and incremental opportunities and be accountable for that plan. Understanding and experience in navigating multiple channels to market while identifying key decision makers for Legrand and partner outcomes. Experience in data driven decisions specifically around price discipline and outcomes. A self-motivated, organized, and achievement-oriented professional with a growth mindset. CRM and Microsoft Office proficiency (Salesforce experience a plus). A current driver's licence and the ability to work independently.
