You ready? Let's do this! What you'll be doing What does a normal day in the life of a Business Development Manager look like? Well, no 2 days are alike at Catch, but you could probably expect your day to include some of the following things: Leveraging the current sourcing capabilities and existing infrastructure to act as a seller sourcing agent Developing new business and existing relationships for their allocated category/s in line with category/s strategy plans (i.e. range and brand targets) Assisting the Category Manager with creating and implementing the category strategy Managing new and existing relationships with Primary tier sellers (Platinum & Rose Gold) Conducting due diligence processes in seller vetting Seller fee negotiation process within benchmark guidelines. Manage key improvement initiatives and projects: Drive new product launches and relationship extensions by partnering with the business development and onboarding teams. Analyse the business: Conduct deep dive analysis and provide routine executive-level reporting on the seller's current business and future opportunities. Publish recommendations and action plans based on data. Work with the Category Managers (MKP, Retail and E-comm) and business development teams to support the overall category strategy In conjunction with Operations, coordinate Category product approvals and seller's escalated customer disputes What you'll bring to the table? Experience in a retail and/or e-commerce environment or as a sales representative. Drive to set and achieve aggressive growth targets. Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel. A passion for delivering outstanding value to customers. Strong communications skills both verbal and written. The ability to establish and build trusted advisor relationships with new and existing key accounts. Experience in CRM platforms, such as Salesforce would be an advantage. Why join the Catch team?
