EL1 Business Analyst, Applications Development Overview of the Team and Role The Technology and Information Management team maintain Comcare's Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) infrastructure and provide strategic leadership, governance, solutions, and advice for the effective management of information.
The primary role of the Business Analyst is to support the Technology and Information Management (TAIM) team in delivering a customer-centric operating model through the management of all internal customer relationships, partnerships, and service level agreements ensuring reliable, high quality, contemporary ICT performance and outcomes.
The role will build, mature, and maintain strong, successful relationships with business stakeholders and TAIM to facilitate superior, innovative, and contemporary ICT outcomes which enable Comcare's goals and objectives.
The role is accountable for the successful implementation, optimisation, and operation of the TAIM's applications development framework, processes, and tools.
The role serves as the operational interface between Technology and business partners to stimulate, surface, and shape business demand and future priorities.
The successful candidate will analyse requirements for business system improvements and processes, conduct stakeholder analysis, develop, and maintain the relationship with the business area and provide advice to ensure the consistent delivery of outputs.
Key systems this role will primarily be responsible for are Claims Management, Customer Relationship Management, Regulatory Management, Fraud, Provider Management, and Employer, Employee and Online Forms portals.
These systems utilise, mainly, the following products and technologies: Java, Dynamics 365, Power Pages, Intelledox, Power BI, Okta, and Oracle and SQL databases.
The role is also expected to liaise and work with several of Comcare's vendors and partners in addition to various Business teams within the organisation.
Mandatory Experience Extensive knowledge and understanding of the ICT systems and processes leading to improvement in operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Security Clearance Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance.
