How will I help?

The role of Business Analyst in the Business Intelligence and Visualisation (BI&V) team within the Chief Data Office (CDO), supporting Consumer Banking, involves:
Proactive involvement in the planning, scoping, actioning and completion of data projects for the teamEnsuring process, procedures and documentation are accurate and up to date.Participate in stakeholder discussions to understand requirements that enables a problem to be defined with clarity and precision.Working across analytical dashboards in Tableau, Power BI; to ensure best practice is delivered.Interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills to translate technical information/insights to non-technical audiences.Presenting and articulating the findings back to the stakeholders using visualisation tools and ensuring that learnings are incorporated into future initiatives.Be a key squad member in the agile delivery of user stories and tasks ensuring quick delivery on requirements.Proactively seek to identify areas where efficiencies could be employed across the wider BI & Visualisation team What do I need? Proven experience as a business analyst within financial servicesStrong Process documentationUnderstanding structured and unstructured data, with the ability to work within complex data environmentsHands on Power BI experienceAgile working and deliveryA curious mind set for problem solving and exceeding goalsAbility to understand and interpret data from SQL What's in it for me?
