We are currently recruiting for a Solicitor to join DLA Piper's global Litigation and Regulatory team to be based in Perth. You will be working closely with a team of highly regarded Partners, including Jock Inness-Campbell who has worked with DLA Piper for almost 20 years. In this role, you will work across a broad range of complex matters including general commercial litigation, insurance, professional indemnity, complex liability disputes, and regulatory matters.
We do not set upper or lower limits of PQE for any of our vacancies. We have, however, given an indicative PQE as an approximate guide for applicants. Candidates who have between 1 and 3 years' PQE are likely to have the right level of knowledge and have gained the right level of experience needed to undertake this role.
Characteristics suited to the role include:
Be a qualified lawyer, ideally qualified in Australia or a Commonwealth jurisdiction.
Have previous experience in a Litigation role, preferably insurance and professional indemnity.
Excellent skills in communication, client relations, and team-working.
Provide a professional, quality service in a timely manner, and respond effectively to requests from internal and external clients.
Proactive and innovative.
