About the role Reporting to the Head of Sales - Commercial Lending, this role is responsible for providing phone-based administrative support to the origination team to fulfill the business requirements increasing client engagement and product distribution nationally.
The objective of the role is to activate and engage regularly with brokers that are known to Assetline but that we do not contact frequently enough.
Success in the role will be reflected in deals written from brokers that the BDM Team would not otherwise have made regular contact with.
This role is an outstanding opportunity for a 'new to industry' salesperson who is seeking a sales role with a leading non-bank lender.
Key Activities: Consistent outbound calls to brokers to market Assetline's products and set-up appointments for BDMsEnsure accurate data in Assetline's customer management software (Salesforce)Provide appointment bookings and client introductions to the Business Development ManagersMaintain and enhance broker relationships on behalf of the Business Development ManagersDeliver exceptional customer service by ensuring appropriate information, appetite confirmation, and reliable action items following conversations with brokersAnswer queries from BrokersSkills & experiences you'll bring to the team: A customer-centric and solutions-focused mindset and the willingness to make phone calls is fundamental to success in the roleExperience in the banking, non-bank, and finance industries is preferable though not essentialWorking knowledge of the banking industry, Australian housing market, and regulatory environment is preferable though not essentialStrong analytical skills and a focus on attention to detailExcellent multi-tasking, time management, and communication skillsAbility to write clearly and conciselyConfidence to deal with external stakeholdersAbility to work autonomously and to contribute and work as part of a teamSelf-motivated with a desire to continually exceed expectations
