Attending client meetings, performing incident investigations, and playing a key role in developing safety management plans are just some of the duties our Supervisors will perform.This role can either be viewed as a long term and secure site based Supervisory role, or an ideal stepping stone into a managerial career with Orica.What you will be doing First and foremost, demonstrating and setting the example of our key company value: 'Safety is our Priority, Always'; Providing operational blasting knowledge and advice to our client blast crews and associated stakeholders; Shotfiring duties including magazine management, managing the loading, tying and firing of blasts, following drill and blast designs; Working in tight unison with your teammates to provide excellence in service to our valued customers; Assisting with the training and mentoring of new team members; At all times acting with integrity and respect. What you will bring 3+ years proven experience in an operational leadership role; Strong people leadership and management skills; Knowledge of the Drill & Blast process on an open cut mine; Experience working within or leading a mine or quarry site blast crew; Experience operating as a full shotfirer; An impeccable safety record and commitment toward safety.
