Location: An exciting opportunity exists for a Program Manager to join the Department of Health. The Program Manager will manage the delivery of a program of the Health ICT capital and operational portfolio, ensuring consistent delivery of a prioritised and balanced portfolio of programs and projects supporting strategic objectives and stakeholder demands.
The Role will:
Manage the delivery of ICT program and projects, supporting strategic objectives. Provide leadership, direction, support, and facilitation of assigned programs/projects. Provide high level specialist expertise and advice. You will need:
Demonstrated specialist knowledge and extensive experience in ICT project and program delivery. High level change management skills, particularly in the context of either business, organisational and/or technology driven change to service delivery and business process. High level experience in, and proven ability to, manage human, financial and physical resources, together with providing leadership, direction and guidance to a team. Proven ability to provide high level strategic, conceptual, analytical and creative skills, demonstrating initiative and judgement in identifying risks and issues, providing recommendations and solutions. Highly developed interpersonal and oral communication skills. Highly developed written communication skills. The Team:
The Project Management Office (PMO) drives impactful change by delivering strategic ICT projects that shape the future of the Department. As a cornerstone of successful project delivery, the PMO also provides project framework, tools, and expert support services, empowering teams to achieve their goals efficiently and effectively.
Details of appointment:
Permanent, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

$165,446 to $182,913 per annum + our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022 Benefits available to eligible candidates:

Satisfactory completion of an appropriate course of study from a recognised tertiary institution. At least five years' experience providing digital technology portfolio, program and project (PPM) delivery solutions > $5m per annum. Applicants should note the position features:
