We value flexibility, this role can be performed at any of the AER offices located in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, or Sydney and are available on a full-time, part-time or job-share basis.
Applicants from diverse backgrounds including First Nations peoples, people with disability and those from different cultural backgrounds are encouraged to apply. What you will do as the Assistant Director, Digital Delivery:  As the Assistant Director, Digital Delivery, you will:
• lead a team of professionals, role modelling our leadership behaviours, supporting a professional and collaborative working environment, coaching, giving continuous feedback, resolving conflict and facilitating career development. 
• oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of data and digital projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• determine and document project requirements, outcomes to ensure program success.
• liaise with the Program Management Office (PMO) to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of data and digital projects and report on progress to senior management.
• ensure effective resource management where required including people, budget and technology.
• coordinate day-to-day activities and tasks associated with the program, ensuring that all components are progressing as planned.
• organise meeting, events, and training sessions and maintain detailed documentation and records.
About you In order to succeed in the role, you will have:
• demonstrated experience leading a technical team or similar in a fast-paced and large complex people-centred organisation. 
• experience in managing and coordinating digital projects and transformation programs along with deep understanding of program planning, project sequencing, and business process optimisation.
• an ability to develop and manage day to day program activities including multiple project coordination, timelines, and budgets coupled with strong organisational skills and attention detail. 
• excellent stakeholder engagement and communicating with influence skills, including the proven ability to easily build rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
• an ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously along with flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. 
• demonstrated ability to effectively juggle competing priorities, including proactive and reactive work.
• strong understanding of digital technologies, platforms, and tools along with ability to work with project management software and reporting tools. 
• experience in supporting and mentoring colleagues across the agency in best practice communications and/or stakeholder engagement activities for diverse audiences.
