About The Role The Solution Architect will provide solution leadership and advisory, develop and implement solutions aligned to the blueprints and roadmaps that deliver a cost-effective target business state and optimised business value delivery.
Additional responsibilities include:
Coordinate and orchestrate application & information solution architecture activities and deliverables to meet the demands and expectations of the Data Office & its data platformsEnsure solutions are aligned to enterprise wide blueprints and roadmaps/future statesManage the architectural impacts of business changeRecommends solutions that improve cost effectiveness and flexibility of the portfolioProvides thought leadership on solution architecture, specifically within the application & information domain, and fosters an environment of continuous improvement within IT & for EnergyAustralia's enterprise data platformsReview, provides analysis, position and response to technical papers as requested by the Chief Architect or Enterprise ArchitectsProvides expert guidance to delivery teamsBe Impactful when you are applying… You will have prior experience with setting collaboration frameworks, creating a solution prototype, solution development control and leading and influencing technical teams all with a data focus.
Additionally you will have some of the following:
Demonstrated experience delivering successful solution architectures in large scale environments/enterprises including exposure to modern cloud based data architectureTertiary qualifications in Technology or similar & AWS CertificationsExperience with data platform services including automated data pipelines, medallion architectures & data visualization, data workspaces, analytical workspaces, codeless ELT, stream processing & event streamingThe ability to translate technical information to an easily digestible formExcellent communication skills - an open and collaborative communicator with proven ability to influence outcomes based on clear and concise messagingHighly collaborative, consultative and ability to work across cross-functional teams such as Agile or DevSecOpsWe are looking for experience with the following technologies:AWS Redshift, Databricks, Snowflake, S3 etcModern ETL patternsAirflow, Kafka Debezium, TerraformWhat EnergyAustralia can offer you!
