Aquatic Assistant

The Programs department is seeking energetic and responsible students to assist with the operations of the Listowel and Atwood pools for summer 2025!
With the support of the Head Guards and Programs Coordinator, you will be assisting with aquatic supervision through water-safety prevention and emergency response as well as providing a fun and creative aquatics environment for participants to learn and develop lifesaving skills.
Requirements: Previous experience working with children is an asset A team player with excellent interpersonal skills Candidates must be 15+ years of age and possess their Bronze Cross and Standard First Aid/CPR C certificate with current NLS, LSS certifications or willing to enroll in future course offerings and complete prior to start date.
Employment is conditional upon certification in Standard First-aid CPR, Level C (completed prior to start date).

Certification in the High Five Principles of Healthy Child Development or willing to obtain.
All summer student positions with North Perth have varying hours which may include weekdays, weeknights and weekends.
Availability to work at both the Listowel and Atwood locations may be required.
