Australian Fisheries Management Authority APS 6 Senior Data AnalystCanberra ACT
The key duties of the position include:Are you passionate about data analysis, problem solving, and quality stakeholder engagement?
Do you want to further develop your analytical skills while supporting Commonwealth fisheries?
Then consider a career in our Fisheries Data and Licensing Services team at the Australian Fisheries Management Authority (AFMA).
As the Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for undertaking expert data analysis to create impactful reports, visualisations, and dashboards that integrate data from a range of sources to deliver insights across the agency as required.
This complex analysis will support clients to realise value from data.
You will assist the Manager Fisheries Data and Analytics to deliver strategic engagement in data analytics and data analysis to AFMA through the implementation of AFMA's Data Strategy which includes investment in modernising AFMA's business IT systems and infrastructure.
You will be required to use your communication and negotiation skills to drive positive change in data usage and literacy for AFMA.
