Aps6 Program Officer

The organisation This highly regarded government agency is looking for a high performing APS6 Program Officer to come in on an initial 6 month labour hire contract. This would be a great opportunity for someone within the APS to have a change of pace to support a busy team. The role As the Program Officer, you will: Draft ministerial submissions providing advice on more complex requests for recovery assistance Draft Senate Estimates briefs, Questions on Notice, talking points, information briefs, ministerial submissions, responses to ministerial correspondence Provide technical expertise to the Branch Take responsibility for setting and delivering work priorities for the team, in consultation with other team members to ensure quality outcomes are achieved; Participate in section business planning; Support change within the team through assisting and supporting new team members and contribute to improving quality and efficiency of processes within the section and branch Develop, foster and maintain mutually beneficial and productive working relationships with key stakeholders Maintain productive working relationships with team members to ensure consistency and cohesion across the team Skills & Experience The successful applicant will have: Proven attention to detail, organisation and resilience  A current baseline security clearance.  Experience within APS as a Program Officer or a similar role with transferable skills  To apply hit APPLY NOW as we will be shortlisting for this position soon.
