APS6 Graphic Designer6 month Labour Hire ContractThe Graphic Designer will work across the Communications branch to provide high level graphic design support for four days a week, maximum of 32 hours a week.Duties Working as a member of a small team to design materials for print and online distribution from concept development to execution to meet business objectives.Working collaboratively on projects, providing expert and timely creative advice to ensure high design standards.Distil complex and/or technical written information into effective visual communication products (such as diagrams and infographics).Provide ongoing advice and user experience interface (UX) design ideas for digital channels, including development of prototypes for various user interface elements.Apply branding guidelines to ensure effective and consistent campaign and product execution.Under limited direction, lead the design and typesetting production of a range of publications such as annual reports, corporate plans and Flight Safety Australia magazine.Develop and maintain effective relationships both internally and externally including with business subject matter experts as well as external agencies and freelancer designers.Key CapabilitiesDemonstrated experience in design and typesetting for (print) and UI/UX (digital) design experience for online products.Knowledge and experience using Adobe Creative Suite software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and XD, FIGMA or other prototyping tools, in a Mac OS environment.Exceptional visual communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information graphically to non-technical audiences.Exceptional interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills including the ability to manage stakeholders and deliver outcomes that meet business objectives.Excellent time management skills with an ability to adapt and manage multiple tasks/projects with changing and competing priorities whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail.Experience in an aviation or regulatory environment.Qualifications in graphic or visual design or another related field would be highly regarded.RequirementsAustralian CitizenshipA National Police CheckPlease Apply Now or contact Maddy Hellawell with any questions on
