This enables Defence to provide a premium, in addition to the base salary otherwise payable under the Defence Enterprise Agreement (DEA), for positions in occupational disciplines/classifications that are critical to Defence capability. For further information, please contact the contact officer. About our TeamLogistic Operation Branch (LOB) is an integrated team of military, civilians (APS) and contractors who contribute to the JLC mission of enabling Australian Defence Force (ADF) operations and readiness through adaptive, effective and efficient military logistics. LOB provides Defence-led warehousing, distribution, maintenance and support services via national and international logistics services contracts delivered by Industry Partners in support of ADF operations and activities. While the number of logistics services contracts can vary according to what our Defence customers' need, typically LOB manages around 13 contracts supporting Defence on a national and international basis. Our workforce is located in all states and territories across Australia, as well as internationally. The Directorate of Warehousing & Distribution Services supports LOB in achieving the above. The successful applicant will provide support to the current Warehousing & Distribution contract management teamOur Ideal CandidateThis is a role in which you will have a high level of stakeholder engagement both within and external to LOB. You will be accountable under limited direction to perform and achieve complex logistics and contract management tasks within an integrated workforce. You will need to work independently whilst contributing as an effective team member. You will also need to have sound interpersonal, communication, negotiation and liaison skills and understand the needs of our stakeholders to produce outcomes and results in support of contractual obligations.
