This role would suit a recent graduate or early career professional.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the preparation of reports in statutory and strategic planning projects, including planning permit applications, strategy plans, and master plans.Assist in the preparation of reports to Tribunal and Planning Panels.Assist and coordinate with other members of the project team in the preparation of deliverables.Maintain positive relationships with existing clients.Report any project issues early to your Line Manager.Keep up to date with legislation and regulations relevant to the role.Key Competencies and Experience0-2 years' experience in statutory or strategic planning and application of the Victoria Planning Provisions, ideally in a local government or consultancy environment.Tertiary qualification in Urban / Regional Planning.Current Victorian Driver's License.Demonstrated experience managing project deliverables to completion, within timeframe, and to a high standard.Proven track record of contributing high quality work.Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn new systems.Skills and BehavioursOutstanding verbal and written communication skills; able to produce high quality reports as well as communicate confidently with a variety of clients and stakeholders.Exceptional organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and ability to work methodically and thoroughly.Strong research and analytical skills.Well developed customer service capabilities with the ability to develop and nurture stakeholder relationships at all levels both internally and externally.Ability to concisely present information in written form (e.g., reporting, presentations).Team player, able to provide support to the wider team on projects.Adaptability and willingness to learn and improve technical expertise.Self-motivated with a desire to achieve high standards.Excellent problem-solving capabilities.Working with RicardoYou will be warmly welcomed into our workplace where every voice matters.
