The Client Service team is responsible for managing all aspects of the client journey and delivering a best-in-class experience to our clients. This team works closely with Sales and Product Specialists to provide day-to-day support to clients and deliver on the client strategy. As an AML/KYC Advisory specialist, you will be an extension of the Client Services team and proactively evaluate and assess clients seeking to invest in BlackRock products and services to enhance the client Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Client (KYC) experience. As part of your role, you will be responsible for driving the overall client service experience in partnership with Sales, Relationship Managers, Client Service Officers, and other internal and external stakeholders to deliver outstanding results throughout the AML/KYC process. Working closely with client to be the liaison between Clients, Legal & Compliance, and Financial Crimes by ensuring that all client information is accurate, current, and compliant with regulatory requirements. Know Your Client (KYC) is one of BlackRock's (BLK) Anti-Money Laundering (AML) measures. It is designed to prevent and detect money laundering, terrorist financing and other illegal financial behaviors. KYC is essential for BLK to comply with regulatory requirements, manage risk, and build trust and reputation with clients and stakeholders. Compliance with KYC regulations helps BLK avoid legal, financial penalties and reputational damage. All customers must be KYC approved prior to establishing a relationship with BLK. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service to clients in the Latin America region by responding to inquiries related to KYC procedures and requirements. Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders to collect necessary documents and information for KYC compliance purposes. Ensure that all client information and documents are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory requirements. Stay abreast of changes in regulatory requirements related to KYC. Escalate any issues or concerns to the Regional KYC lead. Provide training and support to colleagues on KYC procedures and requirements. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the KYC and AML Compliance teams, to ensure a smooth and efficient KYC process for clients. Maintain accurate records of all KYC-related activities and documentation. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. Qualifications Written and conversational English is required. Knowledge of KYC Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) with hands-on experience in KYC onboarding and periodic reviews is preferred. Strong understanding of fraud and money laundering typologies. Some experience conducting Anti-Money Laundering & Know Your Client (AML & KYC) onboarding and periodic reviews for institutional and international clients. Knowledge of US, Cayman, Ireland, and Luxembourg AML regulations is a plus. Sound judgment to know when to escalate issues and take ownership when necessary to prevent or minimize business and/or client impact. Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to review and interpret legal documents. Detailed-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
