About the Business Unit: The Security and Intelligence Division is responsible for several key strategic functions within Corrections Victoria, including Security Risk Management and Emergency Management.
About the Role: The Administration Support Officer reports to the Senior Project Officer, SSU and supports the unit in the delivery of ongoing and ad-hoc projects and complex programs of work. The role provides finance, procurement, and administrative functions related to the SSU.
Some of your duties will include:
Undertaking the accounts functions, including payables, receivables, reconciliations, journals, and data entry for the SSU.Assisting with the development of policies, procedures and databases.Preparing and monitoring the procurement functions.About You: As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
Advanced computer skills, particularly in the Microsoft Office Suite.Demonstrated knowledge with Oracle or similar finance related system.Knowledge and experience of procurement and finance processes.Qualifications/Requirements: Previous experience in finance and stores purchasing is advantageous.A current driver licence is required.Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check.How to Apply: Please click the Apply button on this advertisement.
