Program Officer, Identity and Biometrics Policy Branch - APS Level 5 Employment Opportunity
As part of the Identity and Biometrics Policy Branch your work will help protect all Australians from identity crime - including you.
The branch is responsible for the technical systems, policies and legal frameworks that are needed to establish, protect and verify identity. The branch works with Commonwealth, state and territory government agencies and industry to implement innovative methods to prevent identity crime and support victims, helps Australians to access the digital economy and digital IDs, and improves how identity is verified.
In particular, the work of the branch includes:
This role will work within the Identity Verification Service (IVS) Operations and Delivery Section and supports the effective delivery of three identity and biometric capabilities - the Document Verification Service (DVS) , the Face Verification Service (FVS) and the National Driver Licence Facial Recognition Solution (NDLFRS) .
