The Accounts Receivable Officer facilitates the preparation of timely and accurate reconciliations with Services Australia and the Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA), liaises with Residential Services and Community Health and Care to correct any variances between claims and payments received, update client funding related records and account for monthly CDC entries. A typical day will have you: Ensuring Residential Services and Home Care Services maximise and recognise all available income from the government in a timely mannerProcessing Direct Debits on our financial systemsReconciliation and correction of all variances identified for both residential services and home care with Services Australia and DVAReconciliation of all RACS id's expected funding to Medicare Payment Statements and follow-up of variancesManaging the Review and accounting of the CDC register for Homecare on a monthly basisAddressing and liaising with clients on their accounts queriesUndertaking other finance tasks as required We're looking for someone with: A tertiary qualification in accounting, commerce, or business studies or a related field (Desirable)Demonstrated experience in Accounts Receivable / Reconciliations A strong ability to analyse, problem-solve, and work within tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracyAdvanced MS Office skills with the ability to learn new system skillsKnowledge of EPICOR and experience within health, aged care, and/or community service sector (desirable) Why work with us?
