This role will be supported in our Melbourne or Canberra offices in a full time, ongoing capacity.
This role reports directly to the Policy Manager, Nursing and Midwifery and will work collaboratively with CATSINaM with a key focus to provide professional advisory services, project coordination and secretariat support to several working groups and reform projects. Having a deep understanding of the National Scheme, and having lived experience as an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander person/s and culturally safe practice is fundamental.
As the ideal candidate, you will demonstrate the following: Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of cultural safety Experienced managing programs of work and/or projects relating to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health Relevant experience in health or public policy or similar Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, motivate others and inspire change Strong verbal and written communications skills Additional Benefits: Flexible 3 days working from home with 2 days in the office.
