About the Role:
Canberra Health Services is looking for reliable, keen and outgoing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People to join our team of Aboriginal Liaison Officers who provide confidential cultural, emotional and wellbeing support to patients and their families.
There are multiple casual opportunities currently available within The Canberra Hospital Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Liaison Service.
These are designated positions, only open to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander People.

The successful applicants should have a thorough understanding of the barriers for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People accessing health care.

Prior to commencing this role, successful candidates will be required to:
Hold a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011.
Comply with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy.
