The NLC is seeking to hire for multiple Consultation and Administration Officer roles within its Benefits Distribution team, to facilitate the transparent and timely allocation of benefits across the NLC Region. These positions will play a significant role in engaging and collaborating with Traditional Owners (TOs) and community groups to gather instructions for the payment of income from their land, in alignment with NLC policies, legislation, and specified timelines. About the NLCCultural knowledge and lived experience are central to the work we do here at NLC. The Northern Land Council (NLC) was established 50 years ago under the Aboriginal Land Rights (NT) Act in 1976, to assist Aboriginal people in the Top End of the NT to acquire and manage their traditional lands, waters and seas.
