We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer with expertise in Cisco Wireless and Unified Communications (UC) for a freelance contract role. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Cisco wireless networks and UC solutions for our client, who is a large European-based IT Consultancy.
This role involves hands-on configuration, troubleshooting, and optimisation to ensure seamless communication and connectivity across the organisation.

Responsibilities:Design and deploy Cisco Wireless LAN (WLAN) infrastructure, including access points and controllers.Configure and manage Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and related components.Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues, especially those related to wireless connectivity and UC systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth integration of wireless and UC solutions.Conduct regular audits and upgrades of Cisco wireless and UC environments.Provide technical support and training to end-users.Skills/Must have:Cisco Wireless Technologies: Extensive experience with Cisco Access Points, Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC), and Cisco Prime Infrastructure.Cisco Unified Communications: Strong knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and related components.Network Troubleshooting: Proficiency in troubleshooting network performance issues, especially for wireless and voice/video communication systems.Network Security: Experience with network security best practices related to wireless and UC environments.Certifications: Cisco certifications such as CCNA Wireless, CCNP Wireless, or CCNP Collaboration (highly desirable).Benefits:6-Month contract with multiple extensions planned.Salary:Up to €85 PH.
