We are seeking a skilled and innovative Head Chef to join our team at Ibis Perth, located in the heart of Perth CBD.
As part of our exciting transformation, you will be responsible for crafting a fresh and modern dining experience that showcases local ingredients and meets the evolving tastes of our guests.
About the Role This is a fast-paced role that requires culinary expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for creating memorable dining experiences.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading the kitchen team in developing a creative, seasonal menu that highlights local produce.
Maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
Overseeing daily kitchen operations to ensure quality and consistency in every dish served.
Managing kitchen inventory and food costs effectively.
Reporting on kitchen performance and gathering guest feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Training and mentoring kitchen staff to foster a collaborative work environment.
Requirements To succeed as our Head Chef, you will need:
Previous experience as a Head Chef or in a senior culinary role, preferably in a hotel or high-volume setting.
A strong understanding of menu development and food safety practices.
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse kitchen team.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
A passion for quality and creativity in the kitchen, with a focus on guest satisfaction.
