Zoos Victoria to hire content coordinatorZoos Victoria is looking for a content coordinator, based at the Melbourne Zoo.

The person will be assigned to produce content about Zoos Victoria's outlets (Melbourne Zoo, Werribee Open Range Zoo and Healesville Sanctuary), the staff, animals, and conservation programs.

They will collaborate with the Melbourne Zoo's senior reporter to augment the content with visual aids and other supporting materials. The object is to drive more awareness of Zoos Victoria and generate more zoo attendance.

The position will be open exclusively to first-time applicants with graduate credentials in journalism/PR and communications experience. They must have demonstrable capability in digital content production for news media outlets, making pitches, and organisational capacity. Candidates who have worked in a nonprofit organisation or groups involved with environmental sciences and nature conservation may be considered.
