We have exciting opportunities to join our dedicated team of Casual Disability Support Workers to assist in customers support during the upcoming Christmas festive period.
These positions have potential for ongoing hours including Part-time Permanent positions for suitable candidates, along with career growth and progression opportunities. We offer training for all new starters to ensure everyone feels comfortable and are well prepared for the role.
Significant availability is 'a must' during this Christmas period across days/nights, weekends and public holidays. Generous penalties apply!

Accommodation and Housing Children and Youth Disability Health Healthy Ageing Transport About the role Kirinari is seeking Youth Support Workers to provide individualised support for children and young people residing in Kirinari OOHC homes.
Our young people have experienced childhood trauma, abuse or neglect and may have a mental health, physical or psychosocial disabilities. We're looking for resilient and committed team members who can support young people to build skills and strengths within a therapeutic model of care to provide safety and empowerment.
The overall responsibilities of Youth Support Workers are to provide direct person-centred support and care to young people who reside in Kirinari OOHC homes, ensuring their individual needs are met. Youth Support Workers provide crisis intervention and ongoing support, maintain a safe and welcoming home environment, and empower young people to develop skills which support them to live a good life within their local community.
A typical day in the life of a Youth Support Worker could include:
supporting young people to develop independent living skills supporting young people to achieve their goals supporting young people to engage in their local communities (through school, community groups etc.) daily care and support, include assisting with household duties transporting young people to and from appointments supporting connection to family and culture working alongside other professionals (such as Behaviour Support Practitioners) to deliver multi-disciplinary care. We are looking for people who fulfil the following criteria: Demonstrate a commitment to the safety of children, young people, and people with a disability. An understanding of strength-based trauma informed practice (or willingness to learn). Qualifications in Community Services, Residential Care, Welfare of other related areas (Cert IV) (highly regarded). Previous experience in residential therapeutic care and complex trauma (highly regarded). Willingness to work a flexible roster, including weekends, evenings and sleepovers. Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screening Check prior to commencement. Ability to obtain a paid NSW Working with Children Check prior to commencement. Willingness to be registered on the NSW Residential Care Workers Register Complete a National Criminal History Check (paid by Kirinari). Ability to be physically active and engage with young people playing games/sport etc. Ability to use computers and learn a variety of software/programs. Hold a current Driver's License.
