Broome Youth and Families Hub is seeking a dedicated and experienced Youth Services Manager to build on the strong reputation of the organisation and to oversee and monitor all aspects of community service program delivery.

Broome Youth and Families Hub is a dedicated and passionate Community Organisation, running multiple services and programs providing support to assist and develop positive futures for parents and their children, family units, at risk youth and young people in the Community.
Broome Youth and Families Hub Inc. is a subsidiary of Kullarri Regional Communities Indigenous Corporation.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Youth Services Manager, will receive broad direction from the Management Committee and will exercise managerial responsibility for Broome Youth and Families Hub Inc.
We are looking for an experienced specialist to provide advice to staff, on the ongoing implementation of all services and programs Broome Youth and Families Hub delivers in the Community.
The ideal candidate will have a mature and well-rounded work and life experience. Demonstrated experience in Community Services, and program reporting and delivery.
Previous experience in case managing young people and or people who may face hardships and barriers throughout their everyday life such as, keeping themselves and their family safe, maintaining secure housing, dealing with AOD, and Family & Domestic Violence is highly desirable.
The successful applicant will be responsible for, but is not limited to:
Design, implement and manage the development, review and evaluation of regional action plans for children, young people and their families in Broome.
Develop/strengthen effective networks with and within Indigenous communities; and with relevant organisations to encourage community support and coordinated action.
Work in collaboration with other regional, state and national coordinators to ensure alignment of regional activities with effective national approaches.
Oversee administrative functions of Broome Youth and Families Hub.
Be accountable for the timely submission of reports and contractual obligations.
Organise Management Committee meetings and provide members with consistent, pertinent and timely information in relation to Broome Youth and Families Hub’s operations
Be responsible for the management of staff including training and performance reviews
Identify children, young people and families in need of engagement, intervention and support.
Work with health, education, housing, employment systems to ensure the best outcomes for children, young people and families.
Essential Requirements:
Tertiary qualifications relevant to the role e.g. Community Services, Social Worker.
Extensive experience working with parents and young children, community, service providers and government agencies and an understanding of the local labour market and work force development issues.
Working with Children’s Clearance.
National Police Clearance.
Current C Class Driver’s Licence.
Current Senior First Aid
