The Role - A Day in the Life of a Youth AdvisorAs a Youth Advisor you will provide intensive, pre-employment support to improve the work readiness of young people and to help them into work or education.
This role has a strong focus on helping young people to understand what is expected in the workplace and to develop the skills, attitudes and behaviours expected by employers.
This will be achieved by group facilitation and one on one case management.
This role focusses primarily on one-to-one support to participants.
Your Key Responsibilities will include:Providing high level personalised support and service to our customersActively promoting ETC's services to local industry, employers and jobseekersProviding support to participants, employers and education providers to convert job and education placements into sustainable outcomesAchieve agreed objectives and targetsWorking with TtW Recruitment Advisors, facilitate connections between young people and employers, educational institutions and community organisations to achieve employment, education, training and work experience placementsCriteria for SuccessCustomer service skills and/or experienceExceptional communication skillsA high level of computer literacyAbility to meet monthly KPI targetsA passion for helping othersA current, clear National Police CheckA current Working With Children Check / QLD Blue CardWhy work for ETCWe pride ourselves on offering a positive work culture and environment for employees to achieve their best.
