Workshop Technician

Ontoto designs and manufactures remote telemetry data loggers located in the Southern Highlands. We require a Workshop Technician with the ability to implement new processes and bring fresh ideas and out of the box thinking to support our business growth and new challenges that will take the company to another level.About the Role:Reporting to the Workshop Manager, we are looking for a Workshop Technician who can roll up their sleeves and build devices and grow with the role.Your main duties will be to:Assemble and program devices to fulfill ordersAssist with inventory managementLiaise between workshop, engineers and managementIdentify and assess opportunities to improve processesTo be successful in this role, you will need:Good practical problem solving skillsGood people and communication skillsA background in components and solderingAbility to read drawings and wiring diagrams will be preferable but is not essentialCAD experience will be preferable but is not essentialKnowledge of TIG welding will be preferable but is not essentialKnowledge of 3D printing preferable but not essentialCNC experience preferableElectronics experience preferableAbility to work autonomouslyMust have full working rights to work in Australia
