Would you like to work in a supportive team that values safety as a keystone of our organisation?Austbore has a Workshop Supervisor opportunity available at the team in Paget, QLD on a permanent full-time basis to support the busy workshop team.About the opportunityBe the lead on jobs going through the workshop, meet timeframes and deliverables.Lead and advocate the Austbore Values: Safety, Quality, Equity, Honesty, and Respect.Ensure all Policies and Procedures are followed.Allocate the right resources to jobs to comply with scheduling commitments.Provide leadership through support and training of all employees in your crew.Provide guidance to tradespeople to streamline processes and efficiencies.Carry out audits and maintain Job Packs and ITPs for all jobs.Work with the Management team to ensure our customers receive a quality product that is fit for purpose.About youThe successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:Trade Qualification - Certificate III in Engineering – Fitting & Machining Trade.Minimum 5 years of industry experience.Well-developed people and leadership skills.Ability to negotiate, influence, and implement change.Ability to work within a team environment, yet also work autonomously.High Risk Licence in Dogging and Rigging will be highly regarded.Please note the successful candidate will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment prior to commencement.What do we offer in return?Constant work with plenty of overtime of minimum 50 hours per week available, every week.Retention bonus up to $2,500 after the first 6 months, upon completion of the probationary period.
