Workshop Manager

Management (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)Austcorp Executive are partnering with a leading Australian owned company specialising in the design and manufacture of industry leading OEM lifting equipment for Australian and International markets. This company operates within national and international markets covering a diverse and exciting project range.The team are looking to recruit a Workshop Manager to lead and manage a team of Boilermakers and Mechanical fitters. You will be reporting directly to the Managing Director.As the Workshop Manager, your day-to-day responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:Manage the day-to-day scheduling and coordination of a large workshop teamWork closely with engineering, procurement, and senior leadership teamIdentify areas of improvement in current manufacturing processesEnsure workshop quality and safety standards are being metA little bit about you:Trade Qualification (Boilermaker, Mechanical Fitter, etc. preferred)A minimum of 5 years experience managing a large workshopExperience with Heavy Fabrication and AssemblyWelding Inspection Experience (Preferred)What's in it for you?This role offers the opportunity to join an industry leading OEM within Perth servicing the Australian and International markets.
