$50-$55 per hour + super + allowances * Company car * Opportunity for OTOur client is a well-known and highly reputable service provider to the mining, energy and industrial sectors.
Due to growth, we're seeking a Workshop Leading Hand to join their team in the Hunter Valley.
The ideal candidate will be mechanically trade qualified and will provide guidance and support to the workshop teams to ensure quality, revenue and deadline targets are met.
You will be customer service focused with the ability to communicate effectively to ensure customer satisfaction and the continuation of strong client relationships.This role will be a 50/50 split between hands-on and office based work.What We're Looking For Mechanical Trade qualification eg Fitter, Heavy Vehicle, plant mechanicPrevious experience in a leading hand or supervisory roleAbility to mentor staff and achieve productivity levels and moraleExperience with communicating with customers, quoting and negotiatingProficient with computers and Microsoft Office SuiteBe experienced installation of equipment with the ability for fault findingPreventative/planned maintenanceExperience working on industrial or manufacturing processing/production linesExperience with pneumatic and hydraulics equipmentAbility to troubleshootAssembly and disassembly of componentsBe a team player with a positive can-do attitudeStrong focus and commitment to Safety with the ability to follow Policies and ProceduresBenefitsFull-time permanent positionAttractive hourly rate (from $50 to $55 per hour depending experience and qualifications) + allowancesMonday to Friday rosterCompany carOpportunity for as much or as little overtime at penalty ratesFurther training and developmentA great team cultureYou will be required to conduct a pre-employment medical which includes a drug and alcohol test.If you're looking for a new opportunity with lots of potential, this is the job for you!
