What you will do  This role is responsible for the effective supervision of the Workshop Team alongside the branch manager, ensuring the workshop operation is managed utilising Scania's Common Business Processes to deliver maximum efficiency whilst maintaining a focus on quality – right first time, on time.
Addition duties include:  Ensure there is an efficient flow of authorised work through the workshop, quality in all workmanship; and relevant documentation is completed accurately  Foster and promote a safe and healthy work environment maintaining safe work practices at all time and to work within and comply with Company safety policies and procedures Assist the branch manager to monitor the performance and effectiveness of risk management programs, undertake and supervise the identification of hazards, evaluation of risks, design and implementation of hazard control and maintain the appropriate documentation of procedures and interventions  Motivate the Workshop Team to ensure effective customer outcomes and optimum efficiency levels  Support Team Leaders in providing clear and practical guidance to Technicians, whilst ensuring the Team Leaders have a balance between productive and non-productive work  Who you are To be successful as a Workshop Foreman, you will have: Relevant technical qualifications and proven experience in the repair and maintenance of vehicles Experience in the heavy vehicle or related industry  Experience in a dealership position  Previous Supervisory / Management experience  Experience leading a team of technicians and apprentices  Experience and awareness of OHS&E requirements and standards  Heavy Combination Drivers Licence (HC)  What we can offer you A dynamic and inclusive work culture - be part of a great team environment Our future is exciting - a company with a focus on digitalisation, autonomous vehicles, electrification and sustainability With a presence in more than 100 countries worldwide with 46,000 employees; Scania offers a huge variety of development opportunities and career paths To apply To apply for this role, you need to be a Citizen of New Zealand or Australia, or have New Zealand permanent resident status, or possess the legal right to work in New Zealand.
