Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Workplace service Officer on a contract for 3 months with potential extension of 2X 12 Months.
Position Overview
Our mission in Workplace Services is to create an environment where our clients can do their best work. We achieve this through collaboration with various service providers and stakeholders to manage the building operations and services across Australia. The successful candidate will operate as part of the Workplace Services team that is in Office at Canberra. The team consists of a Site Manager and other Workplace Service officers.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Managing faults, repairs and maintenance through a work order management process and onsite attendance by contractors.
Responding to client requests on a wide range of building and operational matters.
Completing audits and checks on various building amenities.
Managing the company fleet cars and its booking system.
Purchasing and issuing non-IT office equipment.
Managing site security and cleaning services.
Providing support for meetings and corporate event room setups.
Skills & Experience:
Has experience in customer service.
Is client-focused with a 'can do' attitude.
Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Builds and maintains effective stakeholder relationships.
Is capable of working independently or within a team.
Proactively organises their workload and is solution focused.
Exercises good judgment and seeks out opportunities for process improvement.
