Workforce Analyst and Reporting SpecialistAustralian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG) owns, operates and invests in infrastructure which delivers gas to more than two million homes and businesses, and is one of the largest gas infrastructure businesses in Australia. AGIG manages over 40,000km of distribution networks, more than 4,300km of transmission pipelines and 60 petajoules of storage capacity. We employ over 500 people with an additional 1,600 contractors working on our assets.
AGIG is leading the way for the Australian renewable gas sector, and is committed to sustainable gas delivery today, and tomorrow. Our low carbon vision targets 10% renewable gas in our distribution networks by no later than 2030, with full decarbonisation of our networks by 2040 as a stretch target and by no later than 2050.
About the Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join us as a Workforce Analyst and Reporting Specialist for a 16-month fixed term parental leave replacement. In this role, you will play a critical role as a leader in designing, maintaining, and delivering people-related analytics and reporting. Working closely with the People Safety and Culture function team members, this role ensures data integrity and supports data-driven decision-making for the business through reporting and forecasting. If you are excited by and excel in creating actionable insights through workforce reporting and analytics and have experience with platforms like Power BI, Tableau, and SuccessFactors, we are excited to hear from you.
Please note: This role can be based in Melbourne, Brisbane or Perth. Key Responsibilities: Develop best practice workforce reporting and analytics insights for internal customers aligned with our operating cadence.Create processes and guidelines for data extraction, reporting, and analysis to improve efficiency and accuracy.Manage nominated people programs, ensuring data and reporting meet business needs.Establish 'source-of-truth' frameworks, supporting current systems and future upgrades/integrations of workforce data.Train team members on effective use of systems and data for people-related actionable insights.Assist with the delivery of functional plans and reporting to support continuous improvement and adherence to governance protocols.Help develop AGIG functional scorecards to align with strategic goals and measure performance accurately.About You: Tertiary qualification in HR, IT, Data Analytics, or a related field.Proven experience in workforce analytics and reporting.Skilled in building Power BI or Tableau dashboards and integrating SharePoint-based Excel reports.Experience with SuccessFactors reporting, including Story reports.Strong numerical and commercial acumen.Advanced Excel skills, with expertise in Power BI and/or Tableau.What we offer: We are proud to be recognised as an inclusive employer by Diversity Council Australia, and our commitment to diversity and inclusion has earned us recognition in 2023-2024.
