Organisation Overview: Due to an increase in funding, we have an amazing opportunity for experienced Human Service professionals to join an Organisation that aims for social change and equality for women. It provides various services, including Homelessness Services, Sexual Assault Support, and a Women's Health Service. They are committed to crisis support, trauma-informed counselling, and advocacy.

Purpose: The role combines responsibilities for coordinating community education and advocacy on women's health and sexual assault with providing face-to-face counselling and support. It includes delivering training, facilitating therapeutic groups, and participating in a 24-hour sexual assault crisis roster.

Key Responsibilities:Develop and deliver community education and training programs on women's health and sexual assault.Provide individual and crisis counselling to women and survivors of sexual assault.Facilitate therapeutic groups and other supportive activities.Liaise with other organisations to enhance service delivery and referral pathways.Participate in the 24-hour sexual assault crisis response roster.Coordinate and facilitate community education sessions and training for various sectors.Provide ongoing and crisis counselling and support.Develop and facilitate therapeutic groups for survivors and their supporters.Advocate and liaise with healthcare and social services to improve support and referral pathways.Participate in on-call responses and contribute to the daily service support and professional development. Selection Criteria:Tertiary qualification in Social Sciences/Social Work or relevant employment history.Minimum three years' experience in homelessness or related fields.Strong ability to develop and deliver community education and training.Demonstrated expertise in crisis counselling and therapeutic group facilitation.Knowledge of feminist analysis and experience working with diverse cultural backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women.Current Blue Card and Queensland driving licence.
