Queensland Cricket are seeking x2 driven Women & Girls Development Officers to join our Community Cricket team on a 3-year full-time contract basis (with the potential for extension), based in Brisbane.

About the role
Reporting to the Women & Girls Lead, in this role you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of key programs and promotional initiatives designed to engage female participants in cricket.
The successful candidate will work closely with clubs, schools, and community groups, delivering cricket programs aimed at marketing and growing the sport among girls.
The role will involve travel to clubs and schools to support program delivery and promote Queensland Cricket's vision for inclusivity and diversity in the sport.
A strong focus on community engagement, data-driven decision-making, and stakeholder relationship management is essential.

Your key responsibilities will include:
Support the delivery of women and girls' cricket programs across schools and clubs in the Brisbane region.Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure programs are designed to meet the needs of participants and are in line with strategic goals.Act as a brand ambassador for Queensland Cricket, promoting participation pathways for girls through social media, promotional campaigns, and community outreach.Assist with organizing promotional events and school engagement activities to increase awareness of cricket among girls.Collect and analyse participation data to identify trends and gaps in girls' involvement across the region.Use insights from data analysis to make recommendations for future programs and initiatives aimed at improving participation among girls.Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clubs, schools, community organizations, and government bodies, to foster collaboration and support for women and girls' programs.Serve as the primary point of contact for clubs and schools regarding women and girls' cricket participation.About you
The successful applicant will have:
Knowledge and experience in cricket or a related sports industry, particularly the community club environment.Excellent relationship building skills with internal and external stakeholders.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work autonomously and prioritise effectively.The capacity to instill a culture that is inclusive and supportive and embraces hard work and effort whilst also providing the opportunity for fun and camaraderie.Highly organised with the ability to take initiative where appropriate.Ability to travel frequently across the Brisbane region.Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or willingness to obtain one.Current QLD Driver's license.Current first aid and CPR certification.What's in it for you?
