Position Vacant –Customer Experience Coordinator

The role
Come join our team as our WHS team located at either Melbourne, Brisbane, Western Australia, West Gosford or Greater Sydney - where you will play an essential role in supporting Salvos Stores WHS team in delivering great WHS advise across our store network as well as training and guidance on all WHS related activities.
We’re looking for someone with a passion for retail and WHS and is passionate about supporting our mission at Salvos Stores.
Responsibilities:
Support the development, review, implementation of the safety management system to support improved outcomes, in conjunction with TSA WHS standards.Act as a first point of contact to all staff within Salvos Stores (including Volunteers) for all WHS related enquiries and where required, assist in the completion of claim forms, undertake regular check-ins with the claimants and provide regular updates to the WHS Manager as required.Undertake site inspections and identify hazards and risks and work closely with the WHS manager in developing management plan for the hazard and risks.Assist with the implementation of a nationally consistent WHS audit and risk framework and all related supporting systems.Provide coaching and guidance on best practise risk identification and control practices and promote a safety-first culture.Coach and guide stakeholders from across Salvos Stores in relation to WHS related systems and processes and deliver appropriate training where required.Proactively identify opportunities to improve WHS processes to reduce risk and the number of workplace injuriesProvide general administrative assistance to the WHS Manager, follow all Occupational Health and Safety guidelines as outlined by The Salvation Army (TSA), including assessing risk, record keeping and submitting and actioning SolvSafety incidents on a timely basis.Assist and perform additional tasks / jobs as reasonably required in accordance with established guidelines, processes and / or as required by the Line Manager, this includes project related activities.A little about you:
Diploma in WHS or equivalent and/or equivalent relevant experience.Demonstrated experience working in a similar role, ideally in a retail environment.Demonstrated experience working with a WHS management system, with an ability to provide good customer service to key stakeholders across Salvos Stores.A sound knowledge of WHS legislations across various states and with experience working with WHS related documents.Valid driver’s licenseIf this position gets you excited and sounds like the right role for you, we would love you to apply today.
